Christmas Candlelight Tour

Explore Chesapeake City this Christmas on a walking tour of more than ten homes, bed & breakfasts, and churches in our city’s historic district. Along the way, listen to strolling carolers singing your favorite classic holiday songs. Horse and carriage rides will also be available, for an enchanting and romantic evening surrounded by the glow of Christmas lights. Afterwards, enjoy the festive servings of hot cider and cookies.

Visitors participating in the candlelight house tour will be able to admire the beautiful Victorian architecture of Chesapeake City’s 19th century homes in the historic district. Don’t miss the town’s Christmas Tree made entirely of crab pots or make sure you have a better view of the locations on the tour from the vantage point of a horse drawn carriage.
