Chesapeake City's Annual Ghost Walk

Start a new holiday tradition this year for Halloween with one of Chesapeake City’s best traditions. On the annual Chesapeake City Ghost Walk, you’ll tour the historic streets at night as you unravel the mystery performed theatrically by a troupe of actors on the porches and lawns of participating homes and buildings. The original story is different every year, so even if you’re a returning visitor, Chesapeake City’s annual ghost walk is sure to entertain. 

Besides having a ghoul as your tour guide, the annual ghost walk is a five-scene theatrical performance. The ghoul will lead you to each of the five scenes that make up a whole play. The tour circumnavigates Chesapeake City’s historic southside district.

Tours depart every 15 minutes from Town Hall. The Chesapeake City Ghost Walk is a two-day event held on October 25th and 26th, 2021 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
